When is Total Hip Replacement recommended?

Sometimes young people suffer from Type 4 fracture then hemiarthroplasty is not recommended because metal prosthesis bearing against the bone is not an optimal solution. It can result in wear and tear of the bone and possibility even to point of wearing the socket joint. Partial hip replacement is only recommended on occasions when patient is elderly and in poor health.
